With 30+ years of experience, our family owned and operated business has been servicing the Bay of Plenty region for many years. We’ve got a full team of plumbers, gasfitters, and drainlayers – based in our Rotorua, Kawerau, and Te Puke locations – servicing the BOP. Here at BOP Plumbing & Gas, our team work hard to provide you with 24/7 emergency service and we guarantee all of our work. MEET THE TEAM

Aaron
AaronDirector
Aaron heads up the team at BOP Plumbing & Gas. He loves sharing his knowledge of the trade and is on the skills advisory board and President of our local Master Plumbers. He likes to go fishing whenever he can, and is passionate about helping those in need through community groups and volunteering.
Sarah
SarahCommercial Manager
Sarah heads up the office team, specialising in Accounting & Operations. She loves a gin & tonic and her favourite place to visit is Rarotonga – one of the only places she can actually switch off! She really wants to try heli-skiing one day. On the weekends, you’ll find her spending quality time with Aaron, their two boys, and their pets.
Graham
GrahamConsultant
Aaron’s dad Graham merged with Aaron and Sarah’s business to form BOP Plumbing & Gas back in 2016. He has been in the industry for over 30 years, working in the Rotorua and BOP regions. He’s stoked to keep the business in the family and to have seen it grow quickly over the past 6 years.
Rhys
RhysOperations Manager
Rhys has been part of the BOP Plumbing & Gas family since 2021. He was born and bred here in Rotorua and joined our team in March this year. He takes care of Operations for our Rotorua and Kawerau branches. You’ll find Rhys enjoying pineapple lumps at the bach in Rotoiti, or working towards a lap on the Isle of Man TT!

KarenSenior Operations Coordinator - Rotorua
Karen joined our team in 2022 as Receptionist. Her favourite treats are coffee and Caramilk chocolate. She loves to camp out at beautiful Waikawau Bay in Coromandel for a holiday. She clearly loves the outdoors with mountain biking New Zealand at the top of her bucket list.

Fraser
FraserTradesperson
Fraser joined us in 2020 as a Tradesperson. He reckons you can’t beat H20 for a drink. Fun fact: he once competed in a squash tournament with only a month of training and he thinks you can’t beat the Central Otago mountains for a view. We’ll agree with him on the last one!
Warwick
WarwickTradesperson
Warwick joined our BOP Plumbing & Gas Kawerau team in 2022 as a Tradesperson. He was born in Wellington and loves nothing better than a good bag of chips to snack on! His favourite drinks are beer, honey bourbon, and water (not necessarily in that order) and top of his bucket list is to travel overseas. His favourite spot here in NZ is Lake Waikaremoana.
Mohammed
MohammedTradesperson
Mohammed joined us in 2022 as a Tradesperson. He was born in the Fiji Islands. His favourite snacks are KitKat and coke! He’s a bit of a thrill-seeker – he’s done the sky swing already here in Rotorua and plans to do a skydive one of these days. His favourite holiday is heading to the sunny Gold Coast in Aussie.

Apache joined us in 2020. He’s a Rotorua local, born and bred. He likes to go spearfishing and once speared a 120cm Kingfish at Ohiwa! On his bucket list is to go hunting in Alaska. In the meantime, he’s happy with a blue V, some marshmallows, and the awesome fishing and hunting here in NZ. We’re excited to see Apache continue to grow in his career and on-the-job skills.

Clem joined our team in 2021 as an Apprentice. He got right into it, and has been great to have on board! He’s a bit of an adventure seeker – with rally car roof surfing ticked off and base jumping on the bucket list. Give him a banoffee pie and a steiny after a day on the slopes at his favourite holiday spot in Ruapehu and he’ll be in his happy place.

Joshua joined our team back in 2017. He was born in Whakatane and loves dairy milk chocolate and iced coffee! He’s an adventurer at heart too, with skydiving under his belt he’s turned his sights to travel. High on his bucket list is to go to Israel and he loves to explore new places away from home.

NoahApprentice
Noah joined our team as an Apprentice in 2022. He’s definitely adventurous, with skydiving at the top of his bucket list! His favourite spot for a holiday is Opape and he has a sweet tooth with some of his favourite snacks being watermelon lollipops and fanta.
Teaowera
TeaoweraApprentice
Teaowera joined our Kawerau team as an Apprentice in 2022. His favourite drink is a classic H20 and he doesn’t eat candy On his bucket list is to own his own house and that’s his biggest focus as he kicks off his new career in the trade.
